Yash Huilgol

Yash Huilgol
High School: West View High School
College: Princeton University

A young man of many talents, Yash’s incessant curiosity is matched by his friendliness and humility. Amidst serving on school committees, leading the speech and debate team and interning in the community, Yash’s ingenuity prompted him to design software to ease accessibility of and spread knowledge about the plethora of natural beauty in San Diego — an idea so unique and valuable it earned him Eagle Scout status and is currently pending a US Patent. Though not a musician himself, Yash aims to enhance the humanity he sees as one large symphony through scientific discovery and bioengineering. Yash’s curiosity coupled with his initiative will propel him forward throughout his journey at Princeton University.

Words I live by:

“If there is a book that you want to read, but it hasn’t been written yet, you must be the one to write it.” Toni Morrison
