Amy Eppert

amy-eppert

High School: Hilltop High School
College: Point Loma Nazarene University

When Amy walks into a room, you can literally feel the power of music. The aura of peace that exudes from Amy perfectly represents the calming vibrations and melodies she puts forth with her Celtic harp. Through playing for a variety of groups, including Alzheimer’s groups, veterans, and children with disabilities, Amy brings the joy of dance, the sweetness of musical memory and the humor of letting loose that everyone needs. It is the same understanding of human connectedness to the universe that drives Amy to pour out energy through her music and to empower others to courageously seek means to make a more harmonious community. She encourages those around her to “be kind, but live with an intensity and boldness to embrace life.” Amy will assuredly continue inspiring others to find beauty in music and in the details of every day at her new Point Loma Nazarene University home.
