Thank you for joining us at Finish Chelsea’s Run 2012

On behalf of Chelsea’s Light Foundation and the King family, thanks to each and every one of you for participating in the second annual Finish Chelsea’s Run. We hope you had a great time!

With the support of the nearly 5,500 participants, volunteers, and friends who joined us on Saturday, we have again created opportunity for San Diego high school students to attend college through our Sunflower Scholarships (2012 applications being accepted through March 31 – click “Sunflower Scholarship Fund  for more information and application).   We look forward to introducing you to our “Class of 2012” and sharing the stories that make them so special.

If you’d like to check your “chip” run time, or view/order your in-race or post-race photos with the sunflower backdrop, click on “race results” above or “view/order photos” in the side bar to the right.  And don’t forget to plant your wildflower-embedded race bibs and the sunflower seeds you received at the finish line. Once they grow you can upload a photo to add to the virtual garden on our website.

For those of you who registered for the event but were unable to join us, we can mail your race shirt to you for a $3 shipping fee.  Please mail a check to:

We also have a limited number of race shirts available for purchase in youth M and adult M, L and XL available.   If you would like to purchase an extra t-shirt for $10, plus $3 for shipping, please mail a check along with your size request to the address above.
